Lisa is the artist behind The Paint Your Own Pottery Studio's unique wedding signature platters. Her designs are the result of inspiration, creativity and a passion for painting that she has had her whole life.

Lisa happened upon the medium of ceramics at a studio similar to the one she owns now, The Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, and had such a great experience painting that she asked for a job. She worked at that studio until she had the opportunity to open one in her own hometown. During a painting demonstration at the first studio she opened, The Clay Place, a customer asked if Lisa could paint the same design on a wedding platter, and the signature wedding platter was born!

The wedding signature platters' word of mouth business expanded to local bridal shows, and she gained national attention from her first place award at the National Great Plate Contest. Now her web site has brought her an international audience. Lisa is thrilled. "My job, every single day, never ceases to amaze me. Helping someone write wedding vows or a proposal on a plate...never gets boring!
